General Front Page Research

• The image is of one person which highlights the importance of them and all attention is on them.  The models facial image draws in the attention of the audience because he is laughing/smiling which leads the audience to believe it is a fun filled magazine.  It makes people wonder what he is laughing/smiling about creating intrigue.  The way his body language is portrayed shows that he is confident and strong.  Wearing sunglasses and having his hair that way supports the stereotype that follows the rap industry.  
• The title 'reloaded' indicates a new issue with new information with every issue of the magazine.  It is all in capital letters to interest readers, the font size is significantly larger than the rest of the text  to draw the eye and attention of potential customers.  The title is not covered up by the head in anyway which draws extra attention to the title of the magazine as well as the model.  
• The writing on the side of the magazine is floating so it looks better than if they were stuck to the side of the magazine.  The colours all work well together especially alongside the grey background.  The red that is shown in the title is used throughout the writing on the sides of the magazine which is keeping it consistent throughout making it look neat.  The three main colours are red, white and black; these colours work well together.  

This magazine image is of one person again which again allows the target audience to be drawn in to the model without being distracted.  The model gives off a 'typical' rapper look which would intrigue the target audience.  His head partially covers the title but it is still readable which makes the model important to the magazine as he mainly takes up the majority of the page.  

The title is readable but the end is covered up by the model.  The title 'XXL' is in capital letters to grab the attention of potential readers more seeing as half of the head is covered up by the model.  It has a red boarder around the letters of 'XXL' which is specific detail and makes it readable against the white background.  

The writing on the side of magazine uses the colours that is used within the picture and the title which gives consistency to the magazine front cover.  Again, they are floating which gives it a spaced out look as well as being neat.  'A$AP ROCKY' is in red, bold capital letters to emphasise that he is the model on the front page and the main story within the magazine will be about him be 'young, fly and flashy'  

• This image of the rapper Drake is different compared to the other two, although he is still the only person on the front page which draws all attention to him still, he is dressed completely differently.  He is dressed in a suit which I would like to take forward to the image of my magazine because it does not conform to the stereotypical image of a rapper but does conform to what some rappers dress like nowadays.
• The title is 'JET' with the models head covering the majority of the T to show he is the most important feature of the front cover.  The title is bright and stands out to people due to the colour .
• The writing on the side of the magazine is floating which makes it effective and is eye catching.  The promoted content consists of 4 different colours which I will not take forward to my actual magazine as I want to stick with 3 colours to use consistently throughout.
