I have analysed these two magazines further because I wish to use aspects from both of the magazines in my actual music magazine. Although I would like to use the picture style of the magazine on the left, I want to use the background of white as shown in the right magazine. The bar code of my magazine will be on the right hand side as this is what both magazines show. I will be using the colour scheme of white, black and blue in my magazine as it roughly sticks with the colour scheme in these two magazines but it maintains the use of three colours in the magazine which both magazines use.

I will be using this style of title in my music magazine; such as the capital, bold letters as I feel that it is very eye catching and will attract potential customers if the title stands out enough. I would like to take forward the two colours look for the title, possibly not these specific colours but I feel it works better than one simple colour, it has a more positive effect.
Promoted Content

This is promoting 'Banky W' management on the helping of developing stars. This is done to intrigue people if they are interested in management of being helped to develop their ideas. It is used to invite people into the magazine. The black and white work well together on the grey background.

This is promoting 'Trinidad James' rapper or artist on the front page. This is done to intrigue potential buyers to buy the magzine if they like 'Trinidad James'. Again, this takes a simple colour scheme approach and works well together to be effective. This is another example of the colour scheme I would like to take forward into the making of my magazine, using the white and black but also including blue rather than red.
Other aspects
This is the top of the 'RELOADED' magazine, this shows what type of aspects are within the magazine. It gives people a sense of what to expect in the magazine, so they can decide if they like what is in the content of the magazine. This shows what the magazine is about which I think is a good idea as it also fills the gap at the top between the top of the title and the top of the magazine, which I would like to take forward into the making of m magazine.
Photo Cover Research

This image is of the rapper Jay - Z, in this photo he is dressed very smartly to show how 'dapper' he is. This is a good idea for my front page model because it differs from the stereotype of rappers, although it is still a rap magazine it conforms to certain rappers, as they do often dress smart as well as it snapbacks, jeans, jewellery and a t-shirt. An image like this gives the impression the model is quite strong and sure of himself.
